We never see, save or access your files. Your files always only exist on both the sender&#8217;s and the receiver&#8217;s computer. Your files are never copied on a cloud server. They transit directly from the sender&#8217;s computer to the receiver&#8217;s computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"data\">Your personal data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You need to register an account to access the Services. We user social login providers to automatically create your account and simplify the user experience while increasing security.  We keep your social handle (ex: john_doe@gmail.com) as a unique key in order for us to provide our services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a transfer is initiated, we add an event in our database that consists of: A timestamp, the sender&#8217;s and receiver&#8217;s social handle, the IP addresses of the sending and receiving machines and the name of the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"use\">Acceptable use<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your use of our Services must comply with our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/slice.peeza.app\/it\/acceptable-use-policy\/\" title=\"Acceptable Use policy\">Acceptable Use Policy<\/a>. Content you transfer may be protected by others\u2019 intellectual property rights. Please don\u2019t transfer content unless you have the right to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peeza may review your conduct for compliance with these Terms and our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/slice.peeza.app\/it\/acceptable-use\/\" title=\"Acceptable use\">Acceptable Use Policy<\/a>. We aren\u2019t responsible for the content people transfer via the Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may use our Services only as permitted by applicable law, including export control laws and regulations. Finally, to use our Services, you must be at least 13 if you reside in the United States, and 16 if you reside anywhere else. If the law where you reside requires that you must be older in order for Peeza to lawfully provide the Services to you without parental consent (including use of your personal data), then you must be that older age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"software\">Software<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Services allow you to download client software (\u201cSoftware\u201d) which may update automatically. So long as you comply with these Terms, we give you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the Software, solely to access the Services. To the extent any component of the Software may be offered under an open source license, we\u2019ll make that license available to you and the provisions of that license may expressly override some of these Terms. Unless the following restrictions are prohibited by law, you agree not to reverse engineer or decompile the Services, attempt to do so, or assist anyone in doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"termination\">Termination<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019re free to stop using our Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services without notice to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"service\">Service \u201cAS IS\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We strive to provide great Services, but there are certain things that we can&#8217;t guarantee. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEEZA AND ITS AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ABOUT THE SERVICES. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED &#8220;AS IS.&#8221; WE ALSO DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Some places don\u2019t allow the disclaimers in this paragraph, so they may not apply to you. For example, these disclaimers do not override the legal protections, including statutory warranties, granted to consumers by EU law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"limitation\">Limitation of Liability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WE DON\u2019T EXCLUDE OR LIMIT OUR LIABILITY TO YOU WHERE IT WOULD BE ILLEGAL TO DO SO\u2014THIS INCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR PEEZA\u2019S OR ITS AFFILIATES\u2019 FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION IN PROVIDING THE SERVICES. IN COUNTRIES WHERE THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF EXCLUSIONS AREN\u2019T ALLOWED, WE&#8217;RE RESPONSIBLE TO YOU ONLY FOR LOSSES AND DAMAGES THAT ARE A REASONABLY FORESEEABLE RESULT OF OUR FAILURE TO USE REASONABLE CARE AND SKILL OR OUR BREACH OF OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU. THIS PARAGRAPH DOESN\u2019T AFFECT CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CAN&#8217;T BE WAIVED OR LIMITED BY ANY CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE AN EU OR UK CONSUMER, THESE TERMS DO NOT EXCLUDE PEEZA\u2019S LIABILITY FOR LOSSES AND DAMAGES THAT ARE A RESULT OF OUR FAILURE TO USE REASONABLE CARE AND SKILL IN PROVIDING THE SERVICES OR OF OUR BREACH OF OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU, AS LONG AS THOSE LOSSES AND DAMAGES ARE REASONABLY FORESEEABLE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IN COUNTRIES WHERE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY ARE ALLOWED, PEEZA, ITS AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS WON\u2019T BE LIABLE FOR:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ANY LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR PROFITS, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THESE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT PEEZA OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES HAS BEEN WARNED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IF YOU USE THE SERVICES FOR ANY COMMERCIAL, BUSINESS, OR RE-SALE PURPOSE, PEEZA, ITS AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF BUSINESS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. PEEZA AND ITS AFFILIATES AREN\u2019T RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT, WHETHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE, OF ANY USER OF THE SERVICES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OTHER THAN FOR THE TYPES OF LIABILITY WE CANNOT LIMIT BY LAW (AS DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION), WE LIMIT OUR LIABILITY TO YOU TO THE GREATER OF $20 USD OR 100% OF ANY AMOUNT YOU&#8217;VE PAID UNDER YOUR CURRENT SERVICE PLAN WITH PEEZA.
