Getting started
Peeza is available for Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems.

Installation
Download the latest version of Peeza for your operating system from the Download page.
macOS 10+
- Open the downloaded .dmg file.
- Drag the Peeza icon into the Application folder.
Windows 10+
- Run the downloaded .msi installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Linux

Connecting to your account
Peeza uses standard social login providers to create your account securely.
- Launch Peeza.
- Choose your preferred social login provider.
- Your default browser will open—follow the login instructions provided.
- Once authenticated, Peeza will launch automatically and you will be connected.
Sending files
Preparing files for transfer
- Drag and drop the files you wish to send into the Peeza window.
- The files will be packaged for optimal security and performance.
- Packaging time may vary based on file size and the speed of your internal storage.
- Ensure you have enough free storage to accommodate at least the full size of the files being transferred.
Sharing files
- Once packaging is complete, click the Share button.
- Copy the generated link and send it to your recipient.
- The transfer will begin once the recipient accepts the link.
- Your computer and the Peeza app must remain active during the transfer.
- Note: Share links expire after they are accepted by the recipient.
Receiving files
Accepting transfers
- Click the link you received from the sender.
- A browser window will open, prompting you to open the link with the Peeza app.
- Peeza will launch and prompt you to accept the incoming transfer.
- Your computer and the Peeza app must remain active until the transfer is complete.
Saving files
- Once the transfer is finished, click the Save button.
- The files will be unpacked and saved to your selected destination folder.
- You may now safely delete the transfer, or optionally share it with someone else.
Managing local storage
Deleting completed transfers
- To delete a completed transfer, click the [X] icon on the transfer card.
- This will not affect the saved files in your destination folder.
Cleanup
- Click the trash can icon at the top right of the transfer list to clean up completed, unpacked, cancelled, or aborted transfers.
- This also does not affect saved files in your selected folder.
Disconnecting
To disconnect your device from your Peeza account:
- Open the Account menu and select Disconnect.
- This will remove all transfers and temporary data from your device.
Updates
You will be prompted to install software updates. Updates are installed upon next restart.
Uninstalling Peeza
macOS
- Delete the application from your system: /Applications/Peeza.app
- Remove the application support files: ~/Library/Application Support/Peeza
Windows
- Open Add or Remove Programs from the Start menu.
- Locate Peeza in the list, select it, and click Uninstall.
- Optionally, delete residual data at: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Peeza
Linux
- Remove the Peeza application using your package manager (if applicable).
- Delete the configuration and data files from your home directory (location may vary depending on your setup).
Deleting your account (All platforms)
To permanently delete your Peeza account:
- Visit: peeza.app/account/devices
- Disconnect all associated devices.
- Peeza does not store any personal information; once your devices are disconnected, all account data is removed.
